We have a customer that scans in service documents and other customers that scan in affidavits of service.

By going to Configure->General Setup->Document Types (Scans), you can set things for the program to do when it gets in a scan of a certain document type. Click on a document and get its configuration:

So, if you set this to Set Affidavit Back From Server, when you scan it, it will mark the Affidavit as received back from the process server automatically.

If you are scanning something like Service Documents, you can set it to AutoAssign to the process server based on the zip code automatically. And, you can REQUIRE that it gets a Document Date Filed. Most of you don't have that field in your program because we want to keep your screens simple, but the we have a customer who needs to track the DateFiled for each document they scan. It is so important to them that those documents NEED that information in them no matter what. So, we added this feature in the program to require it. If it is not there, it will refuse to attach the document, alert the user AND... optionally email someone in your office just in case the employee that scanned it didn't notice the alert and that it never attached.
