Reset Auto-Post

On some of your job screens, there is a button for Reset Auto-Post

This button will unapprove the job, set the AP checkbox to unchecked and it will also delete the job entry from a second special table that we have that prevents jobs from AotoPosting more than once.

To understand why this matters, you need to understand that Auto-Post does:

When a job is completed and approved and has never Auto-Posted before, the AutoPost event fires. It:

1) Checks Notify on the case screen to see who to send the Auto-Completion to and then emails them the Auto-Completion message (you can customize this email to make it look hot, too).

2) Checks the SecEmailed box on the job to make sure that even if you reset the Auto-Post, the client only got that completion email once. (you can uncheck that box after you reset the auto-post if you like to re-send the completion email upon the next approval on the job)

3) Looks for commissions to apply based on the Coverage rules under the process server config

4) Looks to see if you are using TAG Auto-Billing under the client profile and then matches rules to see if it can add charges and commissions

So.. If you wanted to send a job out on the street again but you already completed and approved it once (like.. if it made it to The Nines screen and you caught something and want to send it back on the street), you can Reset Auto-Post and send it back out again and the next time it is completed and approved, Auto-Post will fire and look for more charges/commissions to add!

This is an advanced feature (and so is The Nines), so you may not need this unless you are a large agency and into batch billing. In fact, unless you are a large agency and savvy with LD, we may not have turned this feature on for you because we don't want to confuse you. Let us know if you want it.
