Datamatrix recognition is one of the feature of LDMax. Unlike Code39, datamatrix recognition has a couple of additional configuration before we will be able to use all of it's functions. Upon recognition, aside from attaching it to it's assigned job, it also has the capability to include Document Type (In which you would be given an additional cool auto features to make it exportable, doc can be visible to client interface, setAffBackFromServer, RequiredDocFileDate, DoAutoAssign and other commands to tell the program what to do on this particular scanned doc). We will only do this additional configuration on Document Types, Customizable Manners/Affidavits, and Customizable Dynaforms/Workorders. Commonly we recommend to use 2 or 3 allcaps letter as the bases or identifier of document datamatrix code (Ex. AFF, WO, DYN).

1.) Document Types Configuration - you should be able to see it as "DataMatrix Code" field in both Add or Edit page and can find it on Config->General Setup->Document Types (Scans).



2.) Customizable Manners/Affidavits and Dynaforms/Workorders - the input here should be exactly the same as of the document type becuase it's key sensitive. Example: AFF should be AFF not Aff; WO should be WO not wo
